Power Tool — Battery and Pneumatic Power tools are a cost effective method of application for both higher volume and higher tension requirements. They carry several distinct advantages, including high seal joint efficiencies, consistent tensions, and the cost savings associated with a friction weld vs. a mechanical seal. Manual Tools For lower volume applications, a manual tensioner and sealer using a special serrated seal to maximize joint efficiency are a cost effective solution. Automatic Strapping Machines and Systems For high volume applications, PAC can provide a range of solutions from stand alone strappers to complete systems for pallet conveying, wrapping, and strapping. Our systems specialists can handle every aspect of your system application: design, build, installation, and maintenance. APPLICATION TIPS POLYESTER STRAPPING For maximum performance, polyester strap should be tensioned to the working range (50 - 70% of break strength). Be careful not to over-specify polyester strap.
